At HFS, we are deeply committed to supporting the social-emotional growth of every student. Our Student Services team works hand-in-hand with students, teachers, parents, and outside professionals to address each child\u2019s unique social-emotional and behavioural needs. A central part of our support includes three designated spaces\u2014The Oasis, The Zone, and The Comfort Room<\/strong>\u2014 staffed by our dedicated Special Education Technicians. These rooms offer safe, inviting environments where students can build skills, develop coping strategies, and strengthen their emotional well-being.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We pride ourselves in offering a wide variety of social-emotional learning (SEL) programs that help our students flourish. These initiatives teach essential life skills in engaging and creative ways\u2014through activities such as LEGO Club, Lunch Club, and Friendship Clubs\u2014while also incorporating valuable workshops from our local police, promoting safety, empathy, and responsible decision-making.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
