Families begin by submitting an application along with the required supporting documents. We then meet to learn more about your child—their strengths, needs, and learning style, so we can best support their transition. Students are invited to enjoy a “Student for a Day” visit to experience life at HFS, during which brief literacy and math screeners are completed. Each new student receives a personalised transition plan, followed by regular check-ins to ensure a smooth and confident adjustment.

We proudly welcome students with all levels of Hebrew knowledge. Grants are available to families transferring from public to private Jewish Day schools.
